The SAXON 709EQ, with its multicoated achromatic 90mm lens, the long focal length and the EQ1 equatorial mount, is the perfect tool for the serious amateur astronomer. The telescope has 36% more light gathering capacity than traditional beginner 60mm telescopes. The focal length of the 709EQ allows a high magnification of up to 675x.
