Using barlow lenses is an economical way of increasing the magnification of any given eyepiece.
A barlow lenses is placed in front of the eyepiece and is used to increase the magnification of the eyepiece and in some instances to provide greating viewing comfort when extremely small focal ratio eyepieces are used.
